WHICH one is KING?
We've all no doubt thought about or discussed this point before... many times for some of us!
We wear the heels - look great but not so comfy. We use the bag - great colour match but too small.
But with decluttering and organising our spaces, how important is functionality versus the overall look?
ME: IMPORTANT!
BUT ... and yes...
there is a BUT...
There is definitely fashion when it comes to storage solutions. And not all of these 'fashion' solutions are user-friendly, space-friendly and functionality-friendly.
But I love this storage basket Natasha, it suits my jute rug perfectly! Yes, I love the basket too and agree the match is perfect! BUT you have a small space and need stacking options to maximise available storage space but the basket...well.. it has no lid...cannot stack...
Finding the right storage solutions for the right space can be tricky. Most people have plenty of storage solutions but still, end up in a pickle. There are many reasons for this, but one reason can be that the storage solution is simply not fit for purpose. It just isn't what is needed in that space. Many people compromise functionality for looks. The truth is, there are solutions out there that look great and are also highly functional. And sometimes, you already have a version of them in your home that just need a little tweaking.
So, for me, both functionality and fashion are king. You can have both.
